This week marks a significant milestone as the first of five KC-390 aircraft officially joins the operational capabilities of the Portuguese Air Force. This momentous occasion represents the culmination of 13 years of dedication with over 800,000 hours of engineering expertise by more than 200 engineers at CEiiA.
The KC-390 is a medium-sized, multirole civilian and military aircraft developed by Embraer. In 2010, we joined the program being responsible for the development of significant parts of the aircraft, mainly its elevator, central fuselage and sponson, representing about 2/3 of its structure.
We look forward to continuing our partnership with Embraer and the Portuguese Air Force, providing ongoing support, customization, and enhancements throughout the KC-390 Program.
