Launch of CTI Aeroespacial

In partnership with CEiiA and Geosat, the Air Force is part of the Aerospace Technology and Innovation Centre (CTI).

In partnership with Air Force and Geosat, CEiiA is part of the Aerospace Technology and Innovation Centre (CTI).

With the mission of creating and developing new knowledge, new technologies and applications for the aerospace industry, two major projects are already underway: the development of the LUS 222 regional light aircraft and new very high-resolution satellites.

The presentation session took place yesterday afternoon at the Air Command in Monstanto and was attended by the Minister of National Defence, Nuno Melo, and the Chief of Staff of the Air Force, General Cartaxo Alves.

This is yet another Air Force flight towards the conquest of the 5th Generation and the 5th Operational Domain - Space, with the aim of ensuring more Security and Defence for Portugal.
