January 10, 2024

Toyota APM, the new vehicle we have been developing with Toyota Caetano for the 2024 Olympic Games has entered production, with the aim to use 250 vehicles for short distance mobility inside the athlete's village and support emergency operations.

We worked closely with Toyota Caetano Portugal to design and develop the APM, leveraging our expertise in engineering and product development to bring this product to life.

The APM is a fully electric vehicle with a range of 100 kilometres and a top speed of 20 kilometres per hour. It's designed to transport athletes with reduced mobility, equipped with a ramp for easy access and a spacious interior that can accommodate up to four passengers.”

The APM is a major milestone for both CEiiA and Toyota Caetano Portugal, being the first product to be delivered under the BE.Neutral agenda, a coalition of 44 companies that aims to create Europe's first carbon-neutral region through the development and production of sustainable mobility products and solutions.
