As Ambassador Randi Charno Levine said: “..on March 4, at 10.05PM, Porto time, Aeros MH-1, the first satellite developed in Portugal in the last three decades – successfully blasted off from the Vandenberg Space Station in California on a SpaceX Falcon 9.This project has been developed thanks to our best minds, several of them in North of Portugal – CEiiA, the Universities of Porto and Minho, and… the MIT Portugal Program”The MH-1 nanosatellite, and its Aeros mission, was also honoured as Mission of the Year at the Small Satellites Conference 2024 in the USA, one of the most prestigious awards in the industry.
