CEiiA delivers two seafloor Landers to the Portuguese Navy

These landers will serve as underwater observatories, collecting data to support scientific research, economic development, and maritime infrastructure monitoring.

CEiiA delivered two sea-floor landers to the Portuguese Navy, that will function as an underwater observatory for acquiring data in deep waters, enabling the expansion of scientific knowledge, economic development, and the monitoring of maritime infrastructure, to be used particularly in the "Infante D. Henrique" Technological Free Zone - ZLT.

The landers are flexible and configurable platforms, with energy autonomy of up to 6 months and the capacity to reach depths of 400 meters. Their objective is the collection of physical, chemical, and biological data on the seabed, allowing, through the wide variety of installed sensors, among other applications, environmental monitoring and acoustic surveillance.
