CEiiA's AYR.ID project has been selected as the winner of the IN3 Innovation Award, Portugal's biggest innovation award, recognizing AYR.ID's potential to revolutionize how we track and fight climate change.
AYR.ID is a digital climate identity platform that empowers individuals to take control of their environmental impact. The platform provides users with a personalized dashboard that tracks their carbon footprint thought an NIC – Climate Identification Number.
The IN3 jury praised AYR.ID for its innovative approach to climate action and its potential to create a significant positive impact on the environment.
“It has been easier for us to be recognized internationally than in our own country. We, therefore, consider this initiative by Casa da Moeda to be very important in promoting a culture of merit in Portugal, allowing us to highlight the best that is done in the country, as evidenced by the finalist projects of this edition.” said José Rui Felizardo, CEO of CEiiA.
The IN3+ Award is the largest award for supporting and promoting research and innovation in Portugal. Now in its 4th edition, it has established itself as a platform for research, development, and knowledge promoted by INCM – Imprensa Nacional Casa da Moeda.
